Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue

The Greenville Concert Band presents an amazing array of great selections—old ones, new ones, borrowed ones, and blue ones—in the spectacular new Arts Center of the First Presbyterian Church. Such works as Prague Waltzes by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, Reflective Mood by Count Basie’s arranger Sammy Nestico, the Music for the Royal Fireworks of 1749 by George Fredrick Handel, and a newly written work by Greenville composer Jess Langston Turner will thrill the audience!

America, the Free and the Brave

The history of America is filled with the stories of heroes who sacrificed for the safety of our country. The Greenville Concert Band celebrates American heroes with a performance of Aaron Copland’s A Lincoln Portrait, Mark Camphouse’s Symphonic Prelude: The Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, The Fourth of July by Morton Gould, and other great works of American spirit!
